Ms Brady's Senior Infants - Strand: Number 
The children counted and sorted toys into sets of 6.
​Strand: Algebra 
Ms Brady started a colour pattern on the board. The children had to work out what the pattern was and continue it with their toys.

Ms Cooney's Second Class:
Rang 2 are using cubes to identify doubles and halves up to 20.
They then moved on to dividing up larger groups of cubes into half and quarter sets.

Strand unit: length
Rang 2 have been busy measuring with their rulers and meter sticks this week, both inside and outside the classroom. 
There was great excitement when we linked our measurement unit with English. One of the characters in the class novel was shrunk down to less than 25cm tall. 
Senior Infants Ms O'Brien
Junior Infants are practicing and learning the story of 10. While the others (with hula hoop and bean bags) are practicing using bar graphs.

Fifth class using Izak9 cubes. In this task they are trying to complete a magic square with all the single digit numbers
